JULY 2007:
The section played only one match against Jomo
Kenyatta University drawing 2:2 against the visitors.
JUNE 2007:
The section played 2
matches in the KHU league loosing 1 game to JKUAT by 1:2 and
winning 1 against Mombasa Institute by 3:1.
MAY 2007:
The
section participated in the 7-aside tournament on 26th to 27th
May 2007 at the Nairobi City Pack Hockey Stadium that was
organized by the Nairobi Simba Union Club. The tournament
attracted 30 teams both women and Men from Mombasa, Nairobi,
Kakamega and Arusha Tanzania.
MSC Men team participated in the event and were grouped in pool
C alongside Nairobi Simba A, Nakuru Athletics, T. S Kamusinga
Boys, Arusha Twiga and Parkroad.
Each pool was composed of 6 teams and we were ranked no 3 in our
pool after 2 wins, 2 draws and unfortunately 2 defeats. Our team
tried to put up some pressure and resistance on all the matches
but it was unfortunate that only two teams from each pool were
allowed to proceed to the next knock out stages and then final.
Although the weather was too humid for the MSC Lads and the
ground was too fast, we however managed to have a chance and a
test of the astral turf stadium.
We definitely acquired new skills/ ideas and we have learnt our
mistakes that we are trying to polish
